We are Beztize, a specialized department of the House of Children and Youth Prague 3 – Ulita. We operate in the districts of Prague 2, 3, and 10, running two low-threshold clubs and three outreach programs for young people facing challenging circumstances. Our mission is to strengthen their social skills, help them overcome difficult life situations, and navigate the social environment. We also support youth in developing their talents and achieving personal goals.
EU 10 for school supplies
Currently, there is an increased demand for tutoring, which in our services is provided not only by Beztize staff but also by many volunteers. Many parents find it difficult to explain school subjects to their children or have limited time due to work commitments. Children also frequently lack even basic school supplies.
EU 30 for public transport fare
We often meet young people who are not supported by their families to pay for public
transport and do not realize the consequences this can have. Out of fear of telling their parents, they ignore paying fines for fare evasion, which can later escalate to tens of thousands of crowns. We would like to motivate our clients to buy tickets and support those who cannot afford them by purchasing a pre-paid pass.
EU 50 for a development activity
In addition to social services, we organize fun and motivational events for youth and the public, where young people we work with often perform. We support them in discovering their talents and motivate them to work on themselves. Some are interested in regular leisure activities or retraining courses, but their environment does not support them, or they lack the resources. We would like to help these young people develop their talents. Interested in the work of our staff?

EU 5 – Working in the club or in the field can be challenging, especially during the winter months. When everything is closed, there is often nowhere to warm up. You can contribute any amount to help staff with winter gear, coffee, or tea.
