About the project
In expert panels, public debates, and the media, we see far fewer female experts than how many of them actually exist. As a result, the voice of 50 % of the population is still not represented in discussions that fundamentally affect all of our lives. We therefore want greater diversity in discussions and higher representation of women in the public sphere.
We understand that it is often easier for conference organizers and journalists to find and approach male experts. We want to make it easier for them to find female experts.
The aim of our project is to provide conference and debate organizers and journalists with a database of female experts on foreign policy, business, and other related topics, and to advise them on how to ensure true gender balance in debates. At the same time, we want to support the female experts themselves in presenting their expertise to the public.
The database of female experts currently contains over 380 profiles of inspiring women and experts on more than 70 topics. We want to continue helping women gain a stronger voice in these and other areas as well. In order to keep on expanding the database, we need help.
In 2025, we would like to develop the Database in the following ways:

- We will expand the thematic areas covered by the experts in our database to include business, economics, and sustainability. By the end of the year, we would like to have 500 experts in the Database;
- We will develop our website to make it as user-friendly as possible and to make it as easy as possible to find the most suitable expert for a given output;
- Debates and conferences will be able to obtain certification from us proving that they comply with the principles of equal representation of women and gender diversity;
- We will establish cooperation with ambassadors who will promote the mission of our project.
How much will it cost?
Equality between people is priceless, but we do need funds to develop our online database of female experts. And because we want to keep the database alive and continue to expand it, we appreciate every contribution!
- With a contribution of 300 CZK, you will support the visibility of the database;
- with a contribution of 500 CZK, you will enable the processing and publication of three experts' portfolios;
- with a contribution of 1000 CZK, you will enable one month of database operation (hosting, backup, security, etc.).

Who are we?
AMO is a non-governmental, non-profit organization founded in 1997. We are dedicated to research and education in the field of international relations. We contribute to a deeper understanding of international affairs. We provide a space for the expression and implementation of ideas, thoughts, and projects that serve to develop education, understanding, and tolerance among people. We support interest in international issues and offer information necessary for forming one's own opinion on current events at home and around the world.
Since 2017, we have been connecting and supporting women in Czech foreign, European, and security policy within an expert network that currently brings together more than 300 women. We know that women experts exist.

What do we do?
- We publish studies and analyses,
- organize international conferences, expert seminars, round tables, and public discussions,
- organize educational projects for students, teachers, seniors, and experts,
- present critical opinions and commentary on current events to the media,
- create more favorable conditions for the growth of a new generation of experts,
- and promote interest in the discipline of international relations among the general public.
