Founded in 2023, Bears of Ostrava connects and supports the LGBT+ community in the Moravian-Silesian Region, focusing on the unique openness of the bear movement. Our main goal is to build a safe environment that helps LGBT+ individuals overcome social isolation and find space for authentic self-expression. We organize various cultural, social, and informal leisure events, such as regular community nights, to provide space for connection and mutual support. Additionally, we focus on public awareness, popularizing the bear movement, and establishing partnerships with organizations and individuals at both regional and international levels.
