Modrý klíč, a public benefit organization, is a non-governmental non-profit that has been helping children and adults with intellectual and multiple disabilities live as full a life as possible since 1991. The organization was founded on the initiative of parents of children with disabilities who wanted to ensure their children received dignified care, support, and opportunities for development. Today, Modrý klíč provides a wide range of social services – a day care center with a capacity of 88 clients, a weekly residential service with a capacity of 22 clients, and a respite care service with a capacity of 7 clients. Each service is tailored to the individual needs of clients based on their age and level of disability. The main goal is to bring their everyday lives as close as possible to those of their peers. In response to the needs of adult clients with disabilities, a residential home service was also established in 2022, providing a safe environment and long-term support for 5 clients.
