With 450 members, the Horní Počernice Scout Unit is one of the top five largest centres in the Czech Republic. Over a hundred volunteers spend their free time with children from 6 to 18 years of age on expeditions, trips and camps in nature, in foreign cities, in the mountains or even abroad. We educate children in the spirit of the motto “Be prepared!”, we lead them to independence and responsibility, we cultivate their physical and mental resilience. All this in a group of good friends, through fun games and practical exercises. We strive for nothing less than raising conscious, characterful and kind-hearted people who will have the strength and desire to change the world for the better.
