Fiducia is an independent cultural and community space in the centre of Ostrava. It organises exhibitions of contemporary art and photography, literary evenings, lectures, public debates, guided walks, and educational programmes for schools and the public. Fiducia also focuses on the memory of Ostrava, its architecture, heritage, and the transformation of public space. It creates a place where people of different generations, professions, and views can meet, and opens up topics important for the city, its residents, and its future. Fiducia works to keep culture, education, and open public dialogue accessible to as many people as possible.
