he Career and Development Institute is an NGO focusing on career and personal development projects focused on students over the whole Czech Republic. Our ambition is for early age students to make their own career choices – consciously and based on their interests and talents – and to encourage them to aim high and reach long in their career development, through positive reinforcement, critical thinking and professional support. In this way, we are helping ensure that more young adults contribute to the economic, civic, and social vitality of the Czech Republic. Our organization aims are to: - inspire and motivate young people by sharing stories and experiences from all professions regardless of education, field, or background; - initiate a change in the educational system; - fight for equal opportunities for education and personal development for all without distinction; - teach young people how to pursue a proactive interest in their own careers; - create a community of active young adults; - initiate changes in thinking in society, especially in smaller towns and villages; - connect young people and employers.
