Společnost Podané ruce, o.p.s. is a non-governmental organization offering high-quality, expert services in two fundamental areas: in the field of addictions and work with children and young people at risk. We are the biggest organization in the field in the Czech Republic, managing 50 service centres with 300 employees in 4 regions of the country. Podané ruce also operates a network of clinics that combine medical, psychiatric, and addiction care. Across four cities in the country, our facilities provide general practice, infectious disease services, and psychiatric support, including substitution treatment for opioid dependence. We have also recently opened a low-threshold clinic in Brno, offering free access to people without documents, people experiencing homelessness, and those at risk from drug or alcohol use. Our clinics also provide testing and treatment for HIV and hepatitis C, pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) for HIV, and comprehensive care for people with complex health and social needs.
