PARENT PROJECT, z. s. is a patient organization supporting children and adults with rare neuromuscular diseases – primarily Duchenne and Becker muscular dystrophy – and their families. Our vision is for people living with neuromuscular diseases to lead a dignified, fulfilling, and active life with the support they need. We provide professional, social, and psychological support to families, develop a multidisciplinary team of specialists, organize psycho-rehabilitation stays, and advocate for systemic changes to improve access to care and services at the intersection of health and social support. We connect experts, institutions, and the public to promote better quality of life, equal opportunities, and hope in both science and care.
