Support Mental Health Education for Czech Students
Mental health is an essential part of overall wellbeing. So why do we talk about it less than physical health?
The mental wellbeing of children and young people in Czechia is getting worse. Many young people experience stress and uncertainty, and often do not know where to turn when they, or someone close to them, are struggling. Research shows that 66% of young people in Czechia want clearer information about where to seek help – and this need is at the heart of our mission.
At Nevypusť duši, we bring this information directly into schools. Through our interactive workshops, we talk to students about mental health in a clear, safe and practical way. We help them recognise when it is time to seek support, how to take care of themselves and others, and where to turn in difficult moments.
We see the impact immediately. Before the workshop, up to 30% of students do not know where to seek help for mental health difficulties. After the workshop, 90% of them know the basic support contacts.
Workshops provide support that truly makes a difference. Through them, we have already reached 28 636 students:
