Songs for Glen - A Benefit Session in Honor of Glen Hansard
This is a fundraising appeal as part of the “Songs for Glen” event to support the organization Jako doma, which assists homeless women in Prague.
Let’s come together to honor Glen Hansard through his songs and the causes he cared about.
Glen helped establish the tradition of Christmas charity busking in Dublin, where musicians and audiences come together to play and use the proceeds to financially support people experiencing homelessness in the local community. The aspects of social justice and bringing together the music and local communities were important to him.

- 2 000 žen v Praze je bez domova, v nestálém nebo nevyhovujícím bydlení
- 250 žen ročně vyhledá naši pomoc
- 85 % lidí na ulici zažilo v dětství komplexní trauma
Jako první jsme v českém prostředí obrátilx pozornost veřejnosti k tomu, že ženy a trans osoby na ulici čelí specifickým problémům. Dnes nabízíme ženám v sociální tísni plné spektrum podpory od základních nezbytností, jako je hmotná pomoc (potraviny, hygiena, oblečení), přes sociální práci až po podporu při zabydlování.
Co dokáže Váš dar?
- Dar 300 Kč = sprcha, čisté prádlo a hygienické pomůcky pro ženu v nouzi
- Dar 500 Kč = úschova věcí a potravinová pomoc pro ženu v nouzi
- Dar 1000 Kč = posilující, terapeutické a komunitní aktivity pro ženy v nouzi
- Dar 2000 Kč = komplexní poradenství k novému startu, včetně prostředků na dopravu, poplatky a léky
Jako doma - Homelike o.p.s. je nezisková organizace, která už přes 12 let působí v Praze. Naším cílem je společnost, kde má každý možnost důstojně bydlet a kde nejsou sociální a genderové nerovnosti. Našimi prostředky jsou partnerství a participace, empowerment - posílení, vytváření bezpečného prostředí, genderová citlivost a spolupráce lidí s domovem a bez domova.
