During our medical outreach missions in rural areas of Uganda, as well as at our new small clinic, we treat patients every day who would otherwise have no access to healthcare. One of our biggest limitations is the lack of diagnostic imaging equipment.
An ultrasound machine will allow us to:
detect high-risk pregnancies early
diagnose internal injuries and bleeding
examine abdominal and pelvic conditions
improve treatment accuracy and reduce complications
Without ultrasound, doctors often have to rely solely on clinical symptoms when making decisions. With ultrasound, we gain certainty, speed, and significantly greater safety for our patients.
How will we use the machine?
We plan to use it:
at our new clinic in Uganda – as a standard part of our diagnostic care
during medical outreach missions to remote areas – thanks to its portability
The i50 Ultrasound Scanner is compact, reliable, and well-suited for settings with limited infrastructure.
What exactly will your donations support?
The full target amount of 60,000 CZK will be used to purchase the i50 ultrasound machine with basic accessories.

Did you know that in Uganda, there will be only two hospitals for half a million people in ten years?
The Nebbi district, where we operate, now has a population of 350,000. In ten years, the local population will be half a million. Only two hospitals with overpriced care serve such a large number of people. Many people often die of trivial and easily treatable diseases. This nine-year-old Hanington boy from the village of Kangave in Uganda looked for us during one of our medical outreaches, where we found out that he was suffering from malaria. He received adequate treatment from us and his condition gradually improved. Although it is an easily treatable disease, one person dies every minute worldwide.
Worldwide, one person dies of malaria every minute.
We believe that only a healthy community is prosperous. Support EMOTER and you and come with us to invest in health. #helpUganda
