Four years ago - edging towards our forties and as brand-new parents - we took up running.
We never imagined that we’d end up standing on the start line of a half marathon race every single year.
We’ve run three times in Madrid, and this year, for the first time, we’ll be running in Prague.
Actually quite soon - on 28 March 2026, and hopefully all 21.097 km.

Once again, we’ve decided to dedicate our run to Tamtam.
Because they support those who truly need it. Our family has personal experience with Tamtam’s incredibly caring approach.
Tamtam is a Czech non-profit organisation with nearly 30 years of experience.
Any support helps to improve the lives of children with hearing impairment - thanks to their services, children and their families can live full, everyday lives.
Their work includes not only professional care, but also the development of apps for the Deaf and hard of hearing.

Cílovou skupinou služby jsou rodiny s dětmi se sluchovým postižením raného věku od 0 do 7 let žijící na území České republiky. Služby mohou být rodinám poskytovány od narození dítěte nebo odhalení jeho sluchového postižení (či vyslovení podezření) do nástupu dítěte do školského zařízení nebo jiné návazné služby, maximálně do sedmi let věku dítěte.
Cíl služby
- Rodina se orientuje v situaci spojené s péčí o dítě s postižením a jeho výchovou.
- Rodina a dítě spolu umí komunikovat tak, aby byl podporován celkový vývoj dítěte s ohledem na jeho individuální možnosti a potřeby.
- Rodina umí využívat své vlastní zdroje, zná další možnosti podpory a dle svého zájmu se zapojuje do běžně dostupných aktivit pro dítě a rodinu.
