Every kilometer helps the hospice!
Let's contribute with every kilometer! How many of us will ride this year? Will all 4 of us ride and finish the route? How many kilometers will we cover? Will all 4 of us do it, i.e. 4xapprox. 230km?
The challenge of cycling 230km from Prague to Brno seemed smaller and smaller after each of five previous events. The bigger challenge was to stay in it... Which I didn't succeed, but thanks to the original initiator I found time to return to it this year (Thanks, Dan!) and I would like to support the House for Julia - "Dům pro Julii" - again.
In the meantime, the House for Julia has been implemented - the hospice is standing (I admire the main initiators and their long-term efforts) - and I would like to support their further activities with some kind of donation :)
Help support the House for Julia - either financially or by joining my ride :) Each amount - even symbolic - will help :)

In previous years 2017-2021 we experienced various conditions, weather from persistent rain to tropicalheat :) But we definitely found out that in June, although there are not so many kilometers trained, there is a lot more light :)
The plan is to set off from Prague on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at about 6:00 AM, and arrive in Brno before sunset. The challenge of cycling 230 km from Prague to Brno is not a small one, and it is not easy at all :-) I am glad that I returned to the idea, and that I found other friends who were not afraid of it. The bonus is to raise money for the House for Julie for their project.
My partner Dan Marek, who came up with the idea in 2017, will (hopefully) support us this time with a sweet (bitter) reward at the finish line :) I will publish details about the journey on Facebook:

The childrens hospice House for Juliet has already been built in Brno. We provide both residential and field services. Our clients are children, adolescents, and young adults who cannot do without the help of another person. They cannot feed themselves, dress themselves, or sit up; some have a feeding tube inserted into their stomach or breathe only with the support of a device. Despite their serious health condition, parents take care of them at home.
