The WIN ERG group together with the Prague Site is organising a fund raiser in support of an initiative run by one of our key diversity partners! The Czechitas Endowment fund is here to support women from precarious socio-economic background, transition into IT.
Their aim is to provide opportunities for learning in the promising field of IT, to inspire those who want to start their own project or business and lack the necessary know-how or connections to experts in the field as well as to contribute to and participate in the systemic change of education in the Czech Republic.

Give a helping hand to women in difficult situations and be part of their journey towards a better future.
At Czechitas, we have spent the last decade opening up the world of technology to women. During this time, we have helped hundreds of women find the courage to make significant life changes despite facing obstacles.
Thanks to the Czechitas Endowment Fund Báry Bühnové, we have provided financial support to 31 women who could not afford to study at our standard subsidised price. Yet they are the ones who need well-paid jobs in IT.

How does your support change lives? Every crown from you means the opportunity for one woman to change her life and find a stable job in a promising IT sector. We fully fund the studies of the women we support at the Czechitas Digital Academy (Data, Cybersecurity, Testing and Web), and now also at the AI Transformation Manager course. It costs up to 100,000 CZK to help one woman start writing a new chapter of her story.
70% of employed women will improve their salary IT is a high-demand sector where 77 % of companies in the Czech Republic with vacant ICT positions have difficulty finding suitable candidates. Our female graduates are helping to fill this gap, with 70% of them also set to significantly increase their earnings. In addition to higher pay, 90% of our female graduates enjoy the satisfaction of a new job offering stability, career growth opportunities, and a future that will not be compromised by automation.
