Make Love Not War
As surely all of you, this week we’ve watched with a mix of trepidation and compassion as events have been unfolding not far from home, just over the horizon, as it were. And we have only one wish – peace and justice. We know that help of any kind is the most pressing order of the day. And that help will be needed next week, too, and in a month, and maybe even in a year’s time. And we want to do whatever is in our power. That’s why we’re holding a charity auction to raise money.
And although we're holding the auction to raise money for humanitarian aid, the highest bidder will receive a Vibrator from us with a message… A message of hope that everything is going to be okay. The Vibrator is one of the three original pieces of Whoop·de·doo Vibrator from the Make Love Not War edition.
We know this is a very sensitive topic, but our goal is simple: to raise as much money as possible and get it to the organization People in Need, which has extensive experience with humanitarian aid and knows best how to use the funds.
We know this is a very sensitive topic, but our goal is simple: to raise as much money as possible and get it to the organization People in Need, which has extensive experience with humanitarian aid and knows best how to use the funds.
We’re finding out that permanently following these events takes a lot of energy, so we wanted to distract you from it for at least a moment. In short – take a little time to tune out the war and make love.
Thank you for helping!
With love,
Anna
In August 2014, we started helping people in the middle of the fighting in Ukraine and therefore announced the SOS Ukraine collection. The protracted armed conflict in the east of the country was causing a long-lasting humanitarian crisis, we were over a long period helping 200,000 people in particular in Donetsk and Luhansk – financial assistance for the purchase of basic necessities, hygiene packages or food packages with flour, oil, salt and sugar. Repairing damaged houses and sources of drinking water. We also offer psychosocial assistance. We are currently focusing on humanitarian aid to the victims of the conflict.
