Collection „Employees for Employees“: Together for Colleagues Affected by Floods
The September floods affected many of our colleagues at Globus. However, eight families lost almost everything within a short time, and their homes became uninhabitable. Their coworkers from operations initiated the "Employees for Employees" collection, intending to help during these difficult times. Globus will also support this collection.
The floods impacted not only the homes but also the lives of our colleagues and their families. Eight of them now face the existential consequences of this disaster. Thanks to the collection, we can at least ease their burden a little and offer a helping hand.
How does it work? The entire collection is taking place through a platform darujme.cz, run by The Via Foundation, where people can contribute any amount of money according to their means.
Attention!For every crown donated, Globus will add one more, doubling the total amount!
Who will the money help? The money will go to the eight most affected families of our employees, who lost everything overnight:
Ms. Nikola from HM Opava
Mr. Petr from HM Opava
Mr. and Mrs. Veronika and Marek from HM Opava
Mr. Tomáš from HM Opava
Mr. Josef from HM Opava
Ms. Lenka from HM Opava
Ms. Vlasta from HM Ostrava
Mr. Michal from HM Pardubice
The total amount collected, along with Globus’s matching contribution, will be evenly distributed among these eight families through by the Via Foundation.
The collection will be open until the end of October 2024 and is internal, within Globus.
