We provide free legal and social counselling. We help people with education, employment and housing. We organize cultural trips for Czech children and children of foreigners within the OPU Community Centre, we offer Czech language courses, also for adults. In schools and in the public space, we engage in educational activities. The social service Halfway House helps young foreigners without family background to become independent. Every year we help about 3500 clients all over the Czech Republic.

Thanks to our donors, we are able to provide our services on such a large scale. How did we help in 2025?

➡️ We helped 7,558 clients with social and legal counseling

➡️1,956 of the total number were consultations in the field (including home visits). Field counseling was also provided at the Bohnice Psychiatric Hospit

➡️ We visited 9 Prague hostels regularly, and occasionally another 16 in the regions.

➡️ We accompanied 2,295 clients to meetings with institutions (especially meetings with doctors). 

➡️ We provided 5,441 hours of interpreting and assistance

➡️ We operated 4 halfway houses in Prague and Brno with a capacity of 31 beds

➡️ The Ukrainian Senior Women's Club met 50 times.

➡️ 262 Ukrainian clients participated in leisure activities. 

➡️ 40 graduates of the Czech language course.

➡️ We supported 100 clients with psychological counseling in Ukrainian and Russian

➡️ 500 clients received food aid at the Ostrava branch, most of whom were from Ukraine.

➡️ Volunteers dedicated 1,630 hours to helping across branches. Among other things, they organized 185 activities for 150 children from Ukraine. Join our volunteer program: here
