For over 30 years, OPU has been helping people build a new home in the Czech Republic. We specialize in supporting people from third countries, and we also help those fleeing the war in Ukraine. We provide legal and social counseling, accompany our clients to government offices, schools, and institutions, connect them with volunteers in their local communities, and offer Czech language courses. Help people who have lost their homeland become our neighbors!
At OPU, we show the way to support people who have been forced from their homes so they can become part of our society. We provide free legal and social counseling. We help with education, employment, and housing. Through the OPU Community Center, we organize cultural outings for children and offer Czech language courses. We also run awareness-raising activities in schools and public spaces. Our Halfway House social service helps young foreigners without family support become independent.
