Safe Shelter for Children and Families in Odesa
Odesa faces daily threats from shelling and air attacks. Our goal is to transform the premises at 7a Varnenska Street into a safe, clean, and fully equipped shelter where children and adults can endure danger in humane conditions.
We have the space, but to open its doors to the public, we must complete essential renovations. This fundraiser aims to raise 900,000 UAH (approx. 450,000 CZK) based on an official estimate for urgent construction work and materials.
How will the funds be used?
Site preparation: Removal of 30 tons of debris and wall treatment.
General construction: Gravel base, concrete screed, and soundproof partition walls.
Finishing works: Wall and ceiling repair, priming, and painting.
Plumbing: Water/sewage pipes, toilets, sinks, and faucets.
Electricity: Wiring, distribution board, power sockets, and lighting.
