The Good soldier Perch, Czech volunteer in the Ukrainian army.
Perch is a former humanitarian aid worker, he volunteered as a driver, delivering aid to Ukraine. During his missions, he witnessed many atrocities and experienced unspeakable horrors alongside the Ukrainians, which motivated him to enlist as a combat medic to the Ukraine’s International legion.
Now he needs our help to purchase necessary equipment, which will increase his chances of survival while carrying out his assigned tasks.
🪖Hi, my call sign is Perch.
Between 2023–2024, I volunteered delivering humanitarian aid to Ukraine. During this time, I witnessed a lot of suffering. I’m a proud father of two, so these situations had an even stronger impact on me.
💔I will never forget watching a Kinzhal missile flying over Zaporizhzhia. I knew immediately where it would land. It was Saturday and it hit a park where a children’s event was taking place. The consequences were terrible. Later, when I watched a video taken directly from the scene, it broke my heart. It was impossible to tell the children and the parents apart. There was screaming, crying, and despair everywhere. It was the helplessness of it all that struck me so hard.
I also visited the hospital in Kherson regularly. Once, when my colleague and I arrived, a group of parents was standing at the entrance- their car had been hit by a Russian missile, and they had brought their injured children. The head physician Svetlana was at the scene; she is an incredibly brave and sincere person. Her dedication touched me deeply.
After all these experiences, I decided to devote my life to saving people. I accepted the role of a military medic. It was a difficult decision, it meant taking on enormous responsibility, going into combat, and sometimes even carrying a weapon. I now serve as a medic-rifleman.
🙏 With all of this in mind, I humbly ask for your help. I am trying to raise funds for thermal goggles, ballistic protection, tactical gear, lights and also for a Ford Ranger vehicle, which is crucial for evacuations and rapid movement. Everything I obtain will be used to protect civilians, children, myself, and other members of my unit.
From where I’m standing, what is happening here in Ukraine is not only a war, it’s a genocide. It is an attack on humanity itself. I believe that we must remain human. The worst thing we can do is to do nothing. I will never take a step back. I am just one drop, but many drops become an ocean — and together we can stop the aggression.

Není to jedno. Ale my můžeme být jeden! Jeden velký problém pro agresory.
