Hi, my military name is Perch.

In 2023–2024, I volunteered to deliver humanitarian aid to Ukraine. During that time, I saw a lot of suffering. I have two children whom I am proud of, which made all those situations affect me even more strongly.

I will never forget seeing a Kindjal missile flying over Zaporizhzhia. I knew immediately where it would land. On Saturday, it hit a park where an event for children was taking place. The consequences were terrible. When I later saw a video taken directly from the scene, it broke my heart. It was impossible to tell who was a parent and who was a child, there was screaming, crying, and despair everywhere. It was the helplessness that affected me.

I also visited the hospital in Kherson regularly. Once, when my colleague and I arrived there, a group of parents was standing at the entrance, their car had been hit by a Russian missile and they had brought their injured children. Head physician Svetlana is an incredibly brave and pure person. Her dedication touched me deeply.

After all these experiences, I decided to devote my life to saving people. I accepted the role of a military medic. It was a difficult decision, it meant taking on a lot of responsibility, being in combat, and sometimes even carrying a weapon. My current position is medic-rifleman.

I therefore humbly ask for your help. I am looking for funds for thermal imaging, ballistic protection, tactical equipment, lights, and also for a Ford Ranger vehicle, which is necessary for evacuations and rapid movement. Everything I obtain will be used to protect civilians, children, myself, and other members of the unit.

For me, what is happening here in Ukraine is not only a war, but also genocide. It is an attack on humanity.

I believe that we must remain human.

The worst thing is to do nothing.

I will never take a step back.

I am just a drop, but drops make an ocean — and that can stop the aggression.
