Domestici.cz = CZK 10 Million for Palliative Care in the Czech Republic

In June 2024, Martin Souček and Tomáš Navrátil stood at the starting line of one of the world’s toughest ultracycling races.
After 8 days, 8 hours, and 23 minutes, they crossed the finish line, having ridden exactly 4,936 kilometers.

A race like that is impossible to finish without domestiques — those who ride in support of the leader, offering help and strength in the toughest moments.

And that's exactly who we’re looking for now: domestiques for palliative care.

Your donations will go directly to support outstanding non-profit organizations:
the Forum of Mobile Hospices, the Center for Palliative Care, and local hospices across the country.

Together, we hope to ensure that as many people as possible — whether our loved ones or strangers — can live their final days with dignity and quality of life.
Palliative care is not about curing at all costs. It’s about making sure that when the end comes, it happens in the way the person themselves would wish.

How Exactly Will Your Donation Help?

All donations will be distributed among outstanding organizations that are driving the development of palliative care in the Czech Republic. Specifically:

The Forum of Mobile Hospices, which helps make palliative care more accessible across different regions of the country.
The Center for Palliative Care, which provides essential education and public awareness — both key to making a good end of life a normal part of life.
Local hospices, where we organize public talks and discussions — around 11 hospices will be involved throughout the year.
