Matoušek’s life is complicated by developmental dysphasia. He has difficulty understanding and expressing himself, and his speech is at the level of a much younger child. He would love to say “mum” or “dad” like other children. Matoušek often feels lonely and frustrated and is eager to interact with his peers, play with them and attend school. He receives speech therapy, occupational therapy and other therapies to help improve his speech and fine motor skills. He is making progress; however, the therapies are very expensive. Your donation can pay for intensive speech therapy (specifically the Elkonin method) and support Matoušek on his journey to his dream of being like other children.
