Last month, heavy rain caused severe flooding and landslides in Slovenia. Two-thirds of the country was affected and 8 000 people were evacuated from their homes. The loss of assets, homes and businesses, livestock, crops and infrastructure will affect livelihoods in the mid-to long term. Eurowag Group, including our Slovenian team from CVS, would like to offer support in such hardship.
Eurowag has opened a portal for employees to donate to two charities providing both immediate and long-term support, Ana’s Little Star and ADRA. All employee donations will be matched by Eurowag and the total funds will be equally split between those two charities.
Ana’s Little Star is a local charity supporting those who are in severe social need and whose immediate condition has worsened due to the flooding. All donations will be 100% used for the purchase of material goods needed by aid recipients affected by the flooding.
ADRAis an international charity, which provides long-lasting support in Slovenia through offering aid packages, education and disaster management as well as direct financial support for infrastructural reconstruction.
