Our "cubbyhole" allows everyone to experience that they are not alone in this. They can be with someone who has a similar experience. Ask for help. Or say nothing at all. Just be the way they feel comfortable. Together we create an open and inclusive space. Attendees can enjoy movie nights, queer sensitive yoga, workshops, night school and many other activities. Please visit the Community Centre website for the current month's programme.
The Community Center is open every Thursday from 3 to 9 pm. Already the first months after the opening, the attendance convinced us of the real need for such a place. We would therefore like to expand the support and cultural programme further. Be there with us!
How will we use your donation?
- 10 000 CZK per month is the cost of the remuneration for the community coordinator
- 4 500 CZK per month for cleaning and minor repairs
- 2 500 CZK is the cost of one film night, including refreshments and production
- 800 CZK will provide one person with one hour of consultation with a social worker
- 120 CZK will provide a place for one person in a queer sensitive yoga class
Running a community centre is not a one-off affair, so please consider supporting us with a standing order to help us become more stable. Thank you for allowing queer people to experience a sense of belonging throughout the year.
