Helping Ukraine

Your support for Ukraine through the United Methodist Church in the Czech Republic is directed to three areas: • The Diakony of the Czech UMC provides accommodation for those fleeing the war in three facilities with a total final capacity of about 100 people. (Two church-owned buildings - the Veselka holiday house near Vimperk and the Poušt' holiday complex near Bechyně, and one borrowed facility - the Dekonta holiday house in Vojnův Městec.) • In cooperation with the Russian-speaking parish of Prague 2 - Agapé, we financially support the import of humanitarian aid directly to Ukraine. • Our individual parishes and Christian Aid Centres are also heavily involved in helping the needy, and we also financially support them in this effort.
