The COVID-19 pandemic and its aftermath are being fought in dozens of countries around the world. We help the most vulnerable – exhausted doctors, people suffering amid violence, poverty, other epidemics, even those without a roof over their heads. Now they're more vulnerable than ever, and they basically can't protect themselves from the disease. At the same time we are doing everything we can to protect our patients and health professionals on further missions and prepare them for the possible spread of the disease. 

We are particularly helping to stop the spread of COVID-19 in hard-hit areas. In places where health care is difficult to manage, or where medical care is almost or completely unavailable in the long run. Our operation always depends on the needs there, the agreement with the local authorities, the security situation, but also on our ability to bring the necessary people and equipment to the site.

Once the situation stabilises and the authorities in the area can handle the situation themselves, we hand the projects over to them and leave the area.
