Update 26. 9. 2020 - Vanesska didn't make it and passed away during the procedure during which her teeth were to be treated

Yesterday, Vanesska arrived at the vet for a procedure during which the vet was to check and treat her teeth that had been causing her troubles. Unfortunately, Vanesska passed away during the procedure… 😢 Vanesska wasn't very young and she was to go for a heart examination, unfortunately, the teeth procedure was necessary and it couldn't have been postponed. That's because the problematic teeth caused inflammation which was weakening the whole body, heart included... 😔

We're very sorry. 💔 Vanesska was an awesome kitty lady and she deserved only the best. Her early passing hurts us very much. We're sorry we couldn't have done more… 😔

A huge thanks to all of you who donated for covering the cost of Vanesska's and Margot's necessary care. 🙏 We now end the collection, because enough finances was collected to cover the cost of Margot's examination and medicine. Margot has an appointment at the vet on Friday 9. 10.

Vanesska suffers from seizures and so she had to visit a vet. The vet examined her, gave her medicament so that she could feel better and recommended her going for the examination of her heart. That's because it could be a starting HCM, which is one of the common heart diseases of cats. 😔 But there's no need to be scared, with early diagnosis and treatment, kitties luckily have a big chance of living a content life. 🙏

Margot suffers from HCM as well. In his case, the problem was found in time and so the tomcat's been taking his medicine since February and it looks great so far. 🙏 He's soon to go for a checkup for us to be sure about it.

On top of that, we found out that Vanesska also has problems with her teeth. She therefore has to undergo a procedure during which the vet will check her teeth, treat them and eventually remove those which are in a very bad condition. 😔

The care of Vanesska and Margot will overall cost aproximately 11 000 CZK. Please, will you help them pay for it? 🙏 A healthy heart is essential and so the examination is very important for both of the kitties and also having healthy teeth is important for Vanesska.
