About Rolnicka`s Client Transport Service
Rolnička is helping more than 120 children and adults with mental and multiple disabilities from the Tábor region. Our goal is to offer our clients such services that meet their needs from early childhood (3 years) to retirement age. We have 6 registered social services, provide sheltered employment for persons with disabilities and work closely with a special and trade school, which share the same facilities with the center.
Many of our clients are not able to use public transport, some live in areas with low transport accessibility, and not all families can import their relatives with disabilities to and from Rolnička every day. Therefore, we started to operate in 1995 our own transport service - to ensure the availability of education and necessary social services while preserving natural family ties and preventing social exclusion.
We operate 4 minibuses adapted for transportation of people with reduced mobilitz and wheelchairs. It is not a registered social service, so we cannot draw a government grant for its operation. Transport costs are partially paid by our clients themselves but if we want to maintain the affordability of the service, we must also ensure its financing from other sources.

Despite its costly and organizational demands, we consider this an essential service. Without it, some of our clients' families would be forced to place their children in institutional care and would disrupt the natural bond with the family that is formed in everyday contact. We believe that this family bond is essential for the development of our clients as well as it is important for our clients and their families that all necessary social services & education are available to them.
