CAMERAS IN SLAUGHTERHOUSES ARE NOT ENOUGH! Let’s make animal suffering transparent.
Every year, millions of animals are killed in slaughterhouses across the Czech Republic. Behind their walls, things happen that are completely at odds with basic humanity: beating, kicking, dragging animals who are unable to walk, gassing, electric stunning, and the subsequent cutting of their throats while their hearts are still beating. The suffering animals endure in slaughterhouses is unimaginable. Yet it is systematically kept hidden from public view. And that is exactly what we must change. What happens in slaughterhouses concerns society as a whole – and society should have the right to see it.
Cameras may record what happens inside slaughterhouses. But what good are recordings that no one will ever see? Under the current system, footage can remain inaccessible to the public, is stored only for a limited period of time, and can only be accessed by the veterinary authorities upon request. By donating, you can help push for change that will make slaughterhouse footage accessible to the public and prevent the cruelty behind their walls from remaining hidden.

At si rika kdo chce, co chce, s prumyslovymi zviraty je zachazeno jako... vlastne nenachazim slov jako s kym. K nikomu se takhle nechovame. Uz jen to slovo “prumyslove” zvire je uplne postavene na hlavu. Takze tahle kampan mi dava smysl. Kontrola a korekce toho, jak se ke zviratum chovame je narosto v poradku. A jak jinak toho dosahnout, nez o tech hruzach informovat lidi. I kdyz, lehce pesimisticky, myslim, ze na tohle koukat nechteji. Protoze by museli uvazovat, premyslet, projevit soucit a neco zmenit na svem chovani. Tlacit na politiky. A to byva problem. Zejmena v nasi spolecnosti, kde muzete zaplnit Letnou a stejne se nic nedeje. Drzim vam palce!
