Caritas Nový Hrozenkov helps elderly, people with disabilities and people at the end of their life journey to stay at home despite a deteriorating health condition. This is possible thanks to the field services and their dedicated caretakers and nurses, who visit this people every day at their homes in the mountainous Wallachian region. An important support of families who take care of their loved ones is the Sunflower Day Care Center, where people can stay during the day, and residential respite care. For those for whom to remain in the family circle is not possible, here is our "Domeček" - House of Peaceful Ageing. Our organization assists the territory with a respectable area of 288 km² in 7 municipalities. Nowadays, the services are provided by 80 employees to 400 clients. Every carer has an average of more than 780 km of travel per month to its clients.
