Scout centers are in the Czech Republic fundamental for the activities of local groups. Yet, dozens of Scout groups are struggling with a lack of clubhouses and do not have sufficient space to invite new members, develop their program, and organize more events.

The Czech Scout Foundation of Jaroslav Foglar makes sure that Scouts can reach out to their local donors effectively and that all donations are spent on (re)constructions of Scout clubhouses and ensuring stable campsites. We help from the very beginning with obtaining an architectural study, project documentation, as well as geting the material needed and finishing the construction.

Our goal is to be partners with Scout centers in large investment projects and to help find the missing funds by opening separate individual project on an easy-to-use online portal Darujeme.cz and besides , we multiply the donated amounts (so called matching) and also cover the administrative fee charged by the portal operator.

In last six years we have supported over 100 online donor projects, gained over 13,000 donations and the total amount received exceeded CZK 22 million. But that is still not enough!

Clubhouse of the Month – July
Contribute to the new camp kitchen near Syrov.

For over 25 years, the meadow near Syrov, close to Humpolec, has been the summer home for scouts from the Hiawatha troop in Brno. Every year, the troop returns to this place to share adventures, friendships, and powerful stories. This meadow has truly become their summer home – and every such home has a heart. For many years, that heart has been the camp kitchen.

Unfortunately, the old shelter no longer met basic safety and hygiene standards and had to be torn down in 2024. The troop now faces a challenge: to build a new kitchen that will be a safe, functional, and dignified space for preparing meals and gathering every day.

The new kitchen will be a solid wooden structure with a single-pitch green roof, designed to naturally blend into the landscape. The troop plans to use natural and recycled materials to ensure that both the construction and operation are environmentally friendly – respecting the nature that makes camping possible. The kitchen will once again become the true heart of the camp.

The project already has a building permit. The troop has a clear vision and experience – but they need help financing the construction.

Why is it important to support the kitchen?

The camp kitchen is more than just a technical facility. It’s where daily camp life happens. Without it, it's impossible to provide children with the quality, safe, and comfortable conditions they deserve.

Troop Hiawatha is doing everything it can to continue camping in the same place as previous generations. So today’s children can experience the same moments their parents, leaders, or former members once did.

Rovers Made a Big Impact at the Orlovy Scout Base

The gathering of rovers from the Vysočina Region brought many repairs and firewood to the Orlovy scout base—and gave participants a fresh boost for their rover journey, thanks in part to a grant from the Jaroslav Foglar Scout Foundation's "Service to Scout Bases" program.

At the turn of May and June 2025, the regional R+R (Rovers and Rangers) Meeting of the Vysočina Region took place at the Orlovy base near Humpolec. Thanks to the support of the Service to Scout Bases grant from the Jaroslav Foglar Scout Foundation, participants were able to join forces and significantly improve the facilities for future scout camps and events.

A total of 33 rovers took part in the event. Each of them completed at least two three-hour work shifts, during which they managed to:

  • Paint and assemble 15 tent platforms for the upcoming season
  • Prepare firewood—cut, split, and stack it under cover
  • Assemble 9 new bunk beds and reorganize existing furnishings
  • Increase the base's accommodation capacity to 50 beds
  • Clear the garden in preparation for further improvements, especially fence repairs
  • Clean out the attic, remove accumulated materials, and reorganize the interior
In addition to the hands-on work, there was a strong focus on personal development—younger rovers were introduced to the principles of rovering, shared experiences across different crews, and discussed how service can be a natural part of the rover lifestyle.

Clubroom of the Month – June
Help Revive the Attic of the Scout House in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm

Every house has its own stories. The Scout House in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm has hundreds. It serves children who come here to find friendship, adventure, and shared experiences – all in the spirit of Jaroslav Foglar’s legacy.

Our foundation has long been committed to supporting projects that help these values grow and thrive. Much has already been done to restore the Scout House – it now has new windows, floors, electrical wiring, and plumbing. But one part is still waiting: the attic.

The attic holds enormous potential. A clubroom for older scouts and troop leaders is planned here, along with facilities for camp planning and creative activities, a kitchenette for longer events, and a shower and WC for independent use. The roof needs insulation, the staircase must be made safe, and several technical adjustments are required.

To make this happen, the scouts from Rožnov have launched a fundraiser to raise CZK 300,000, which the Jaroslav Foglar Scout Foundation will support. We would be grateful if you joined us and contributed to the reconstruction via Darujme.cz – helping transform an empty attic into a vibrant space for future generations.

Klub Šlechetných šípů založen

Poděkování těm, kteří pomáhají šířit poslání nadace a Jestřábův odkaz!
Ve čtvrtek 10. dubna 2025 jsme slavnostně založili Klub Šlechetných šípů – společenství těch, kteří dlouhodobě a šlechetně podporují činnost Skautské nadace Jaroslava Foglara. Ať už finančně, odborně nebo svou energií a časem.
Klub Šlechetných šípů vznikl jako poděkování těm, kteří pomáhají uchovávat a šířit odkaz Jaroslava Foglara. Zároveň ale chceme, aby tento klub rostl – aby více Šlechetných šípů pravidelně podporovalo foglarovské ideály, stavbu kluboven, šíření hodnot a literárního odkazu mezi další generace.


We are going to establish the Generous Arrows Club, which will bring together those who permanently or significantly contribute to the construction of new scout clubhouses, so important for all scouts.

Zítra se otevírá další nová skautská klubovna, na kterou zatím přispělo 136 dárců celkovou částkou přes půl milionu korun!!! Děkujeme všem!

Víte, co mají všechny tyto klubovny společného? Byly opraveny v nedávné době, nebo jsou těsně před dokončením. A to vše díky našim dárcům a věrným zákazníkům Jestřábova dobročinného obchodu. Díky za vaši neustálou přízeň a štědrost. Pomáháte nám podporovat vznik nových kluboven.

We have closed the project helping clubhouses damaged by floods in September 2024. Thanks to all donors we will be able to support everyone needed. Thank you VERY MUCH!

Since 28 October 2024 we have been helping to gain funds for purchasing of a new kitchen in Hradisko.

Since 6 May 2024 we have been helping to gain funds for a project Feel like home at the Swimming House on the Lužnice river.

Since 2 March 2024 we have been helping to gain funds for a clubhouse in Žamberk.

Klubovnou prosince je před rokem vyhořelá a nově obnovená klubovna v Bojkovicích.

Klubovnou měsíce listopadu je SD v Mostě. Dary budou použity na výrobu skladového regálu, který jim umožní přestěhovat sklad z nájmu do vlastních prostor.
 

Klubovnou měsíce října je Bobří srub v Háji ve Slezsku. Klubovna se bude otevírat 15. října a potřebovali by ještě pořídit matrace na spaní, aby mohli klubovnu nabízet i o víkendech.

Klubovnou měsíce září je nová klubovna v Polné. Zaslané dary budou použity k dovybavení kuchyně, aby mohla být klubovna nabízena na víkendové akce.

Klubovnou měsíce června je Baráček ve Velkém Meziříčí. 

Klubovnou měsíce května je nová maringotka skautského oddílu Klubíčko v obci Skály u Protivína. Oddíl v malé obci přišel o klubovnu v obecních prostorách a potřebuje rychlou náhradu. Mají možnost si koupit takovou maringotku. 

Klubovnou dubna je stavba střediskové klubovny střediska Srdíčko Třebíč.

Klubovnou měsíce března je dětský koutek v Asistenčním centru Jihomoravského kraje pro válečné uprchlíky v pavilonu B na brněnském výstavišti. Podpora pravidelných dárců klubovny měsíce je aktuálně dostačující a bude použita především na drobné operativní nákupy pro zajištění  dobrovolnických služeb, které dohlíží nad provozem dětských koutků. Větší finanční dary nemáme jak uplatnit. Budeme rádi, pokud se stanete pravidelnými dárci. Děkujeme dosavadním pravidelným dárcům a věříme, že březnové přesměrování jejich darů pochopí. Sami jsme si něco takového nedokázali ještě před pár dny představit.
 

Klubovnou měsíce února je Skautský dům v Mostě.

Klubovnou ledna 2022 je budoucí klubovna oddílu Tuvia v Praze na Vítkově.  Vzniká v těchto sklepních prostorách.

Klubovnou prosince je rekonstrukce Skautského domu v Opavě. Tušíte, k jakému účelu byl tento dům původně postaven? 
 

Klubovnou měsíce listopad je stavba klubovny ve Střelicích u Brna.

Na klubovnu měsíce září jste přispěli částkou 2902 Kč. Posíláme tuto částku do Háje ve Slezsku. Děkujeme!

Klubovnou měsíce října je nová klubovna stavěná svépomocí v Polné. 

Dary přijaté v průběhu července a srpna jsou určeny na provozní náklady nadace spojené s podporou skautských kluboven. Deset dárců poslalo dvacet darů v celkové výši  5804 Kč. Všem dárcům velké díky.

Klubovnou měsíce září je stavba roubeného srubu v Háji ve Slezsku.  Na jejich webu si můžete prohlédnout podrobnou fotogalerii z postupu stavby. Dary přijaté v průběhu září pošleme středisku Ostrá Hůrka Háj ve Slezsku.

Klubovnou měsíce června je stavba nové klubovny ve Vyškově. Všechny dary, které se v průběhu června vyberou, pošleme vyškovským skautům na dokončení jejich klubovny.

Na klubovnu v Mníšku pod Brdy se v průběhu dubna vybralo 8650 Kč.

Klubovnou měsíce dubna je nová stavba střediska Skalka v Mníšku pod Brdy.

V nově budované klubovně v Mníšku pod Brdy nezahálejí a začali s vnitřními omítkami.
