We are at war. In Georgia, in Moldova, in Serbia, in Hungary or in Slovakia, non-profits are being labeled as enemies of those in power. They represent islands of freedom that must be tamed, controlled or outright shut down. Support NGO leaders in countries where hope is hard to scramble!
In some places it's a bit better, in some places it's worse, but it is getting tighter everywhere you look. We see increasingly more often how important it is to stay in touch, to have people in other countries who are doing similar things, to share and to find support and hope that defending freedom and democracy is worth it or that we have to at least try.

This is why this September - as I will be turning 56 this fall - I will bike an average of 56 kilometers a day to support and to connect non-profit leaders from the region. Altogether, this means a total of 1,680 km, which is, in fact, the exact distance from Prague to Kyiv.on a bicycle. During all this time, I will be thinking of you, hoping that I am not alone in this and that together we will be able to collect EUR 6,800 to support the stipend program for non-profit leaders in countries where it is needed most.

The Leaders of Tomorrow program has been running in the CEE region for a decade, in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) for the fifth year and in Canada for the second year. Over time, more than 200 alumni from 23 countries have graduated the program, forming together a support network of active social impact leaders in their countries and beyond. I have helped developed this program and taught in the CEE edition for 9 years, so I can personally guarantee you that it is worth it.

Please enable others to join in!
Thank you so much for considering your support.

Jede pán na kole, vítr sviští kolem uší,
rychlost závratná, pán má dobrodružnou duši.
Avšak co se nestane – z kola létaj matky!
No bodejť ne pane, zavařil jste mu šlapky...

Podpora těch, kdo reprezentují občanskou společnost, je důležitá i v demokratickém světě. O to víc je třeba v době a na místech, kde je svoboda ohrožena. Myslíme na vás!
