Help us light up the hospital in Lviv

Help Build a Solar Power Plant for St. Luke’s Hospital in Lviv. Frequent power outages are threatening the care of the most vulnerable — the critically ill and the wounded. St. Luke’s Hospital urgently needs a reliable energy source to keep saving lives. Your donation will help provide a stable and sustainable power supply, ensuring the hospital can operate without interruption — even during blackouts. This means life-saving treatments can continue, day and night. By supporting this project, you’re not only protecting lives today — you’re also contributing to the long-term, sustainable recovery of Ukraine. 👉 Make a difference. Power hope. Donate today.

Bring Light. Save Lives. Support St. Luke’s Hospital in Lviv.

Millions across Ukraine are facing prolonged power outages. Entire households, cities, and even regions are left without electricity. But the most devastating impact is felt in hospitals — where every blackout puts the lives of the most vulnerable at risk: the critically ill, the wounded, and newborns.

St. Luke’s Hospital in Lviv saves lives every day. Now, it urgently needs your help.

Seven-year-old Romchik was one of 202 people injured in the Russian missile attack on Vinnytsia. Romchik’s mother died. The boy suffered severe burns affecting his airways and 45% of his body surface. He was cared for by the hospital in Lviv.

As one of the largest medical facilities in the city, St. Luke’s provides specialized care to over 30,000 patients each year. With 450 beds, 15 departments, and over 10,000 surgeries annually, it serves people suffering from strokes, severe burns, trauma, and serious cardiovascular conditions. Since the beginning of the war, it has also treated numerous patients with complex gunshot and explosive injuries.

To keep saving lives 24/7, the hospital needs a stable, independent energy source.

That’s why we’re building a solar power plant on the hospital roof — and your support can make it happen.

Hospitals cannot function without a constant energy supply. Operating rooms, diagnostic units, intensive care, oxygen stations — all rely on uninterrupted power. St. Luke’s energy needs are immense: 122,500 kWh per month — more than 4,000 kWh per day. Traditional generators simply can’t meet this demand long-term.

Your gift will help build a solar power plant and ensure the hospital never goes dark.

With your support, we will:

  • Provide St. Luke’s with a stable and sustainable energy supply,

  • Ensure continuous operation of critical departments like eye microsurgery,

  • Reduce reliance on fossil fuels and lower energy costs,

  • Allow the hospital to redirect saved funds into better care and development.

Thanks to the Sun for Ukraine project and the generosity of hundreds of donors, we’ve already supported solar energy installations in 12 Ukrainian cities. Now it’s time to bring light and hope to St. Luke’s Hospital.

👉 Donate today and help ensure that everyone — no matter the circumstances — has access to timely, life-saving medical care.

Thank you for standing with us.
