Help Emička in her difficult beginnings
“Emička was born healthy, but a month after giving birth, meningoencephalitis severely damaged her brain, and doctors predicted severe motor and mental disabilities. The beginnings were very difficult for us. The early care specialist listens to us, advises us, and shows us suitable activities for her. At the same time, she is an invaluable support for us parents.”
Early childhood intervention is free of charge for families, but we can only provide it with your support. Give Emička and other children with a similar fate timely help.
For Emička, now three years old, new stimuli are important. The specialist brings the family the right tools to each consultation and teaches the parents how to work with her. Thanks to early childhood intervention, the family has taken advantage of the opportunity to meet with a psychologist and support for older siblings, and she enjoys participating in joint events. She sees it as a great relief that the specialist comes directly to her home.
Early childhood intervention specialists visit Emička and other families at home, often for years. They help them find ways, see progress. They share their successes and disappointments. They stand by them and support them in living a fulfilling life despite their disability.
