Operating a house for families of long-term sick children at the Motol University Hospital

When a child needs long-term medical care far from home, the whole family faces a difficult situation. Parents have to deal with travel, accommodation, additional costs, caring for siblings and the uncertainty that comes with every day spent in hospital.

Ronald McDonald House in Prague gives families the chance to stay together. Located close to Motol University Hospital, it provides free accommodation and support for up to 21 families at a time — including a private room, shared kitchen, laundry facilities, spaces to rest and the support of the House team.

Your donation helps cover the everyday running of the House — clean and safe spaces, utilities, maintenance, equipment and the support families need throughout their stay. Thanks to you, the House can remain open to more families who would otherwise have to face distance, costs and separation.
