WHO WE HELP
People who have lost their homes due to the breakdown of family relationships, the death of a close person, poverty and financial housing unaffordability, loss of permanent employment or unmanaged debt.
The elderly, the mentally or physically ill for long periods of time, people who carry trauma, addictions, learned helplessness, lack of social skills and abilities, and victims of crime who have suffered physical, financial or emotional harm are also in difficult living situations.
A special group are homeless young people from dysfunctional families or with no family background at all who have been institutionalized.
These people carry a whole range of difficulties, to which one of the most serious has been added - the lack of a roof over their heads and a safe environment. In this situation, they live under permanent threat of hunger, cold and poor access to health care. They are also easy victims of crime.
HOW WE HELP
In our facilities we accept anyone who has no home and comes to us to ask for help. We also look for homeless people directly in the places where they survive. We offer them immediate help and other follow-up care. We enable them to regain their strength and, with the help of experts, to start to resolve their life situation so that they can return to normal life.
We provide food assistance, hygiene and basic health care, and we also provide laundry, social wardrobe, housing and expert advice on employment, housing and debt.
We work with homeless people within the following services of HOPE:
